What is Included in Full Grooming? A Guide for Miami Pet Owners

When you book a grooming appointment, you want to know exactly what your furry friend is experiencing. At Chima Pet Grooming, our full grooming service is a comprehensive spa treatment designed to leave your dog or cat looking, feeling, and smelling their absolute best. Here is a breakdown of what is included when our mobile salon arrives at your Miami home.

1. A Deep, Cleansing Bath

Every full groom starts with a thorough bath using premium, pet-safe shampoos and conditioners tailored to your pet's specific coat type and skin needs. We gently massage the lather into their fur to remove dirt, excess oils, and allergens. This step is crucial for pets living in the humid climate of South Florida, helping to soothe the skin and prevent irritation.

2. Professional Drying and Brushing

After the bath, we use professional, pet-safe dryers to safely dry your pet's coat. We never use heated cage dryers. Once dry, we meticulously brush out the coat to remove loose undercoat and prevent matting. Regular brushing helps distribute natural oils, resulting in a shiny, healthy appearance.

3. Precision Haircut and Styling

Whether you prefer a breed-standard cut, a practical puppy cut, or a custom style, our experienced groomers will trim and style your pet's hair to your exact preferences. We pay special attention to the face, paws, and tail to ensure a balanced, beautiful finish that highlights your pet's best features. View our grooming gallery to see our styling work!

4. Essential Hygiene Details

A full groom goes beyond the fur. We include nail trimming to keep paws healthy and comfortable, ear cleaning to prevent infections, and a sanitary trim to maintain cleanliness. We also carefully clip the hair between the paw pads and apply a moisturizing paw balm to protect against hot Miami pavement.

5. The Finishing Touches

To complete the spa experience, we apply a gentle, pet-safe fragrance spray. We also love adding a cute bow, bandana, or collar accessory so your pet returns to you looking fabulous. And of course, every pet gets a surprise treat for being such a good boy or girl!
