2. Gentle Hair Removal (If Necessary)

For breeds that grow thick hair inside the ear canal (like Poodles or Bichons), we gently remove the excess hair using specialized ear powder. The powder provides grip, allowing us to pluck the hair quickly and painlessly with our fingers or hemostats. This step is crucial for allowing air to circulate and the cleaning solution to reach the canal.

3. Applying the Cleanser

We use premium, veterinary-approved ear cleansing solutions that dissolve wax and alter the pH of the ear to make it inhospitable to yeast. We apply the solution to a cotton ball or pad—never squirting it directly into the ear with force, which can startle the pet.

4. The Base Massage
